HOLY SHIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!
Good thing you'll be back soon!
L.A. has also become a testing ground for foreign pizza chains informed by the strip-mall standard American franchises that have set up shop abroad. But don't expect pedestrian localizations of Pizza Hut. Instead, inspired overseas entrepreneurs have been taking the basics and building them into peculiar pizzas that go beyond the boundaries of convention.
Seoul-born Mr. Pizza Factory's Koreatown branch is the only one of its kind in the U.S. Consider the bulgogi and seafood pizzas first, but ultimately opt for the Potato Gold: potato wedges, bacon, corn, crushed tortilla chips, cheese and a drizzle of sour cream. It recalls a plate of potato skins you might find at a sports-bar happy hour until you reach the layer of sugary sweet potato paste buried deep within the doughy crust. It's a bracing surprise.

WAIT BEFORE WE BREAK UP CAN WE GO TO THIS
In an unprecedented live event, FOX and “Glee” co-creator Ryan Murphy are bringing the hit television show to concert stages this spring!
Beginning Wednesday, May 18 in Phoenix, Arizona, “Glee” stars will perform in a singing and dancing celebration of the Golden Globe Award winning show.
The four-city exclusive engagement, “Glee Live! “This has been such an extraordinary year for ‘Glee’ and I can’t think of a better way to finish up the first season than performing live on stage with the cast,” said Leah Michele, a Broadway veteran. Heart throb Cory Monteith, “This show has changed my life in so many ways. If you had told me a year ago that I’d be performing classic rock songs in concert theaters around the country, I would never have believed you. We are psyched!”
Select tickets will be available to American Express cardholders in an exclusive pre-sale beginning March 5; tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, March 12 at 10 a.m. for the concert in Phoenix, and Saturday, March 13 at 9:00 AM for the concerts in N.Y.C. and 10:00 AM for L.A. and Chicago.

Letter From the Editor
Hello Readers,
Today is a special day for Samchel. One of our major contributors, Rachel Ferrell, has turned 21. Since Samchel's creation, Rachel has always been the one keeping us at the forefront of pop culture. She's the one who pushed us to move our small college newsletter to the internet. And now two years later, Samchel is a world wide phenomenon, with over 50 million subscribers worldwide. And somehow, Rachel finds the time to still produce over 90% of our content. In 2010, we are launching our first television network, and Rachel will be right there in front, leading the way.
Please join all of us here at Samchel in wishing Ms. Ferrell a happy birthday.
Sincerely,
Sam G. Sitar

Amazing: The Bird & The Bee have got a new album coming out and it's all covers of Hall & Oates songs (except for one track which is brand new).
THE BIRD & THE BEE IN BRIEF: A 'chanteuse' called Inara George along with a chap by the name of Greg Kurstin who's basically one of the world's Top 10 pop inventors. The pair first bonded over a shared passion for jazz NO WAIT COME BACK then went on to do some songs that weren't in fact jazz and actually sound like big pop, like last year's 'Ray Guns Are Not Just The Future' album and the single 'Love Letter To Japan' which could quite easily have been a fairly popular Little Boots or Lily Allen song.
ANYWAY the new album is called 'Interpreting The Masters Vol 1: A Tribute To Daryl Hall And John Oates' and it's out towards the end of March.
The first song, 'Heard It On The Radio', isn't a Hall & Oates song at all. Instead it's a warm and brilliantly observed 'Yesterday Once More'-style 'homage' to Tunes Of The Past and for that reason is a very good song to kick off this tribute album. You'll already have guessed this if you're familiar with Greg's work but 'Interpreting The Masters...' isn't one of those terrible 'LOL remember the 80s' efforts; instead it's a passionate fan latter to the greatest songwriting duo of the 1980s whose names weren't Tennant & Lowe or Morrissey & Marr or Stock & Aitken or (GET ON WITH IT - ED)
Tracklisting:
1. Heard It On The Radio
2. I Can’t Go For That
3. Rich Girl
4. Sara Smile
5. Kiss On My List
6. Maneater
7. She’s Gone
8. Private Eyes
9. One on One
We have listened to this album approximately three times so far and are currently on the fourth lesson. It's rating quite high in the listenableometer.
