Los Angeles-based Social Science Recordings and Obi Best (fronted by Alex Lilly, back-up vocalist in retro-pop group the Bird and the Bee) are launching an open call for music video submissions. This nation-wide open call is for ambitious, aspiring filmmakers and individuals interested in creating compelling video content. Students, amateurs, semi-pros, auteurs and pets are all eligible to enter. Submissions must be the original work of the entrant. Finalist will be selected by Obi Best and Social Science Recordings and the winning video will be awarded $500. All video submissions must be received by midnight, Feb 15th, 2009.
